Purplies Design Team Challenge

Welcome to Our Design Team Challenge
Kari had given us the challenge of making a flower. As you travel through the Purplies Design Team Blogs you are going to see some amazing flowers and the recipes to make them. I hope your as excited as I am, cause I love love love making flowers :)
My favorite flowers are the ones that look beautiful but are easy peasy to make LOL... which the brings you to mine (hehehe)
This flower is sooo easy to make.
                                            ~~recipe~~
Flower Shoppe Cartridge
2 <sunflower> @ 3 inches
1 <sunflower > @ 2 1/2 inches
1 <scallope> @ 2 inches
glitter glue and 4 pearl picks
ink pads ( I used red, white and ditressing brown)

Before you start to assemble your flower now is the time to use your ink pads. I used the Tim Holtz Distressing Ink -vintage photo first on the edges of all the petals, then went over it in red. I took a white ink pad and just dabbed all the cuts.just to break up all that pink. now your ready to assemble your flower...

Stack flower petals on top of each other ( biggest petal on bottom) stagger the petals , roll the scallope cut up, be sure to glue it as you go or it will loosen up and come unraveled ( I know from experience )
after the scallope is completely rolled up, glue it to the center of the sunflower petals. I rolled the petals of the sunflower around the handle of a small paint brush to give them a little curve.
I added the pearle picks to the center beneath the scalloped flower. Then I added glitter glue to the edges of all the petals so the would catch light ( I love glitter)  and show a little diminsion.  There you have an easy flower. I hope you like it.
Thank you for stopping by my Blog today . Be sure to stop by my DT sister's Blogs and see their beautiful flowers as well.
