Welcome to day 3 of our I'd Rather Be at The Beach Blog Hop. I know your seeing alot of Beautiful creations so far this week. Isn't there alot of talented crafters on this hop? Not to mention the great give aways so far. I hope your enjoying it as much as I am.
Today I'd like to share a card I made for this hop. It's keeping with that beachy theme in fact it's my favorite part of the beach...Sea Shells.
It's a standard A2 card. I thought it turned out pretty cute.  I left the front of the card blank because I thought it just looked "happy" as it was. You could always add whatever sentiment you'd like if you decided to make one like it for someone.
Well there it is. Hope you enjoy it.

  4. The beach is very elegant and I love it. I am a follower. My favorite beach memory is returning to Daytonna Beach last fall with my family and spending the day playing on the beach with them. Then getting to drive my new car down the beach. I had gone to Daytonna when I was in college and always said someday I would return when I was older with my family and drive my car down the beach. I got to do both and it was so much fun!!!

  10. Really cute card! My favorite beach memory is when I went to the beach with my bf for the first time. It took us about a year and a half to finally find the time to go, and it was a blast! I follow as squiggles87.

  11. Love your seashell card! A favorite memory /memories is walking on the beach picking up all sorts of shells, sea beans and rocks. I love collecting them, especially sea beans, which I then combine with shells and natural fibers to make jewelry! Love it and it is so relaxing and rewarding!

  12. Cute card Jackie - I love that you left it without a sentiment! I don't have a lot of beach memories as I have only been to the beach a few times, but probably my favorite memories would come from my honeymoon almost 24 years ago. My first time on a beach in the Carribbean, i was sitting at the water line looking at the shells 9 this beach was called shell beach and there were more tiny shells than sand it seemed). I did not know that the waves got progressively bigger and did not really notice until the 7th wave hit me and actually somersaulted me up the beach. My hubby was watching and laughing at me of course. I was covered with tiny shells and sparkeled for the rest of the day :)

  16. This is simply sweet ! love the shells that youve added. I love to add shells to my beach projects as it makes it all seem more real!
My fav beach memory is one from when i was a kid. As a family we all went on a caravaning holiday to the beach - to Blackpool - which is the UKs version of las vegas on a terribly mini scale as its so tacky!! anyway we all would go every year and go to the beach. Sit and soak up the sun, gather shells and my fav bit was to have a donkey ride. i think that was what started my riding habit ! oh those were the days - then i grew out of it by about 12 !! TFS

  18. Love the card. The shells are so pretty! My favorite memory of the beach is my first trip to Maine in 2002. I had never stepped into the ocean before and it was darn cold, but I didn't care! I splashed around in it like a little kid while my best friend snapped photos of me. I have one in a frame that I created with the sea glass, shells, and tiny little crab that I found. Love that memory. :0)

  20. That is a very happy card!

When I was a child we went on vacation to the beach every summer. It was a time of being wild and free, loose from the confines of the city...guess what? I now live in our vacation home! I have lived here for 28 years, raised my two children here. I find living at the beach suits me very well!

  22. Cute card! I go to the beach alot over the summer, always have. One year my cousins and I were walking under a huge pier and we found a gigantic white jellyfish. Luckily we had a sand strainer with us and my cousin picked up the jellyfish and carried it back to our blanket. needless to say our parents were grossed out but we had alot of beach goers come check it out!
