Valentine's Mailbox/Treat Box Blog Hop
Valentine's Day is just two weeks away and we wanted to see what kinds of mailboxes, boxes, and bags you make to give those special people in your lives. Join us for some amazing Valentine's inspiration in plenty of time for that special day and those special treats.
This hop has two hostesses today: Jearise from Lorby's World (http://lorbysworld....blogspot.com) and Tee (http:// tee-myspot.blogspot.com/). Make sure you visit their blogs because they have some special treats of their own to give away. They'll tell you more on their blogs.
Now on with the inspiration...
We have always made bags, boxes or some type of holder with our children for Valentines Day. A crafty little project to hold the cards and goodies we exchange. You know the kind decorated kleenex boxes, shoes boxes, bags with open mouths to deposit all the sweet little notes and candy. But now that my kids are older thats just another tradition that kind of gets dropped by the holiday wayside. So this year I decided to make them little Valentine bags and fill them with love, treats and a homemade card of coarse.
Here are the little gift bags I started decorating for My Hubby and kids. The Little bags I bought at walmart, 2 / $1.00 -I used the Love Letter Bears from Scrapping with Lisa's Designs svg files. . I sized and cut these files using Make the Cut. Then pieced and glued them and attached them to the bag... I will probably embelish alot more before they are given. due to a trip to ER yesterday I'm lacking in the embelishing so far. I hope you like these lil bags so far.
NOW ON THE BLOG CANDY... $15 in free files from Scrapping With Lisa's Designs. Here's what you need to do to win those files...One random winner will be chosen among everyone who goes to ...Scrapping with Lisa's Designs and become a follower and to Scrapping with Lisa's Designs Fan page "like" her page And Tell her Jackie Sent you. I know your gonna love those files.
Thanks for stopping by and in case you got lost along the way or just started here are heres where you need to start Jearise ~ http:// lorbysworld.blogspot.com you will find a list of our complete line-up below.

What a simple, inexpensive and cute idea. I could see doing this for a class for the kids to pass out to put treats and cards in and then easily grab them and go at the end of the school day. Hope you're feeling better and sorry to hear about the ER trip. I'm glad you were able to join us for this hop though. I really appreciate the effort and dedication. Hugs.
