This is my first Design Team Project for Kari’s Junior Purplies and you can find the complete Design Team projects at http://purplefuntastickcreations.blogspot.com/ . Her instructions were simple – we were to do a Love project and think out of the box and yes it can be anything paper related or home decor just don't do a card...along with trying to be different!..
This is my project Love project thinking outside of the box
...It's a mini made out of an altiod tin. I made it for my youngest daughter.

I sanded the tin a little just so the surface wouldn't be so slick.

I measured my paper, glued it to the tin, then added lace and ribbon. Inside the top lid I glued paper and wrote how proud I am of her.

This is the completed project.
I hope you enjoyed my Junior Purplies DT project. I hope you'll visit Rachelle,Lisa and Andrea and see the awesome projects they created...Thanks for stopping .

Something New

Hello to all my crafty friends. Thanks for stopping by today. I know alot of  you are already doing the digi- stamping. But I had not tried it till this week.  It was alot more fun than I thought it would be. Honestly I love the simplicity of  cutting all my pieces from my Cricut ( yeah, I'm Lazy ) but I thought it was time I expanded my crafting skills just a little *giggles*. I'm glad I did because I really like them now...OK yeah I'm hooked. :)
So if you still haven't tried it...here's how I got started... I went to Jen's Digi-Stamp Blog...  http://jensdigistamps.blogspot.com/
She has a  Freebie Friday on her blog. Copy the image , Jen suggested copying it on white card stock. Then drag out your colored pencils, markers , water colors or even crayons if you want to involve the kids. (I happen to love to color *hehehe*)...Jen also mentioned they could be flipped and re-sized before you print them out. So there you go...if your a newbie like me than you have a new creative portal to.
here's what I did with my free digi-stamp from Jen's...

I hope you like it...happy creating and have a blessed day :)...Oh yeah, don't forget to go by Jen's Blog for more ideas from her and her Design Team...Thanks for stopping by my lil' spot.

Here's my card for the Vintage Christas in July Blog Hop. I love the way this image turned out on this card. It was actually a calender that was scanned in my computer, res-sized and a few things added  with photo shop. Then cropped and layered onto vintage Christmas themed paper (sorry if that part doesn't show very well)...I  used my sewing machine to make paper ruffles and added them to the side. I hope you like it.

First of All...Today is my son's 13th Birthday . Happy

Birthday Stephen !! Since it was his Birthday he thought he

should be part of the Hop.*LOL*...Now on to creation for day

2...I made little note cards, actually 12 little note cards.

I thought these would be cute to send out to just as a

reminder how important it is to take care of yourself...

The boxing gloves are just clip art that I had on my computer and hand cut and glued to my card base. A few little butterfly charms were added just because I like girly things *hehehe*
The card was cut from my Basic Font Cart.  If You don't have a gypsy or Design studio to weld. A basic card can be made this way using the tall ball key and the Thanks sentiment. I cut them at 5 1/4
The phrase "fight like a girl" was printed on my computer. These are pretty simple and basic and anyone one can make them, they're just that easy. wrap a ribbon around the 12 cards and ou have a nice little gift for someone who needs a little reminder that God made girls Strong.
Now on to todays Blog Candy...Here are a pair of *hope* earrings my daughter made for this hop. Just leave a comment and a way to contact you. Someone will be chosen Monday.

Please Continue along this Hop...You don't want to miss the projects from these talented crafters. Thanks for hopping by and Thank you Erica for putting this Hop together. Here's the line up in cause you get lost along the way..

Now on to the creation for Day 1. As you can tell by now I love making Mini's. I love making them out of everything possible. If you can fold it, bind it, or glue it chances are I'm trying it. * giggles*....
This Mini is a paper bag mini ( which I love to Do ) It is 5 x 51/2...it has 8 places inside for pics or journaling...10 if you use the front/back covers. 4 pockets with 4 tags.

This little ribbon charm has the worp hope engraved on it.

All sentiments were cut using my Home Decor Cricut Cart. As well as the butterflies and corner accents.

I love the way it turned out.

The paper I used for this Mini is from the block " Simply Delightful" by My Mind's Eye...Which I love, in fact I had if for a while but I liked it so much I didn't wanna cut it. But as you see I did and I'm glad I did. It's very pretty here
You can see pink ribbons through out this Mini, they are actually glitter stickers which caught my eye walking through the card dept. at Wal-Mart ...hehege.

This is the back , left some open spaces for someone elses creative moments.
These are the tags for pics or journaling. Also cut with my Cricut
All cuts have been made with my Cricut carts. I used the mix and match feature for each cart, whiich makes it so much easier when your doing several pieces for a Mini.
I hope you like this little Mini made for this Hop. As A reminder please have regular scheduled Mammograms...Had it not been for that one uncomfortable appointment , This year might have had a different out come for me. So if you haven't made that appointment ,please do it soon.

Now for some ....BLOG CANDY....as my regular followers know my 13 year old daughter designs jewelry and she has made a few pieces to be given away during this hop...here's the 1st one....

isn't it cute ! this pink bracelet is made from glass beads with the hope ribbon charm.
